The ACE app already offers members of ACE Auto Club Europa many practical functions such as the ACE emergency call in the event of breakdowns and accidents, a gas station search with regularly updated price information or a mobility planner with traffic information. Since the beginning of 2024, the app has further enhanced its capabilities by enabling mobile payments for fuel directly at the pump or from the car thanks to the seamless integration of Connected Fueling. Connected Fueling expands the already extensive range of functions within the ACE app, providing users an immediate and comprehensive in-app service.
Moreover, users of the ACE app can now experience the enhanced convenience of making payments directly at the pump at around 4,860 gas stations across Europe. The integration of Europe’s leading independent Connected Fueling platform into the ACE app is achieved through the incorporation of the PACE Cloud SDK for iOS and Android, accessible as an additional feature.
Benefits of Connected Fueling in the ACE app:
Finding the preferred gas station
The Connected Fueling acceptance network displays nearby gas stations. When users are in close proximity to a participating gas station, the blue Connected Fueling logo will automatically appear, signaling the option for mobile payments directly at the pump or from the vehicle.
Efficient and secure Refueling Payments
Following a simple one-time registration, the ACE app, integrated with Connected Fueling, guides users through a swift and straightforward payment process: select a fuel pump, authorize the payment, and resume the journey. The ACE app supports all payment methods available on the Connected Fueling platform.
Fueling history and Receipts
The app archives all refueling transactions, presenting them clearly along with corresponding receipts. Additionally, a fuel receipt is delivered via email.
