PACE Telematics, the leading provider of mobile payment solutions in the European gas station market, is strengthening its presence in northern Germany with another important step: the company is integrating the CLASSIC brand fuel station network into its open Connected Fueling platform. This means that 139 additional stations will be available for mobile payment directly at the pump in the future. The integration will take place via the POS systems of the companies HUTH and Bungalski, two established providers in the field of fuel station technology.

By connecting the CLASSIC stations, the PACE Connected Fueling Ecosystem is opening up to another strong partner in the German SME sector. Since February, over 130 CLASSIC stations have already been connected and enabled for mobile payment and the remaining stations will now follow suit.

For drivers, the introduction of mobile payment via the PACE Drive app and partner solutions such as DKV APP&GO means a noticeable increase in convenience: the payment process can be carried out directly at the fuel pump – securely, quickly and without having to go to the store. Especially in everyday situations where speed and flexibility are important.

Philip Blatter, Managing Director of PACE Telematics, explains: “By integrating the CLASSIC service station network, we are jointly expanding our presence in the German market. We are very excited about the partnership with the CLASSIC service station network and the opportunity to support a valued traditional brand in offering this innovative service to its customers.”

CLASSIC Tankstellen GmbH & Co. KG adds: “The decision to choose PACE as our mobile payment partner is based on our aspiration to offer our customers a modern, uncomplicated fueling experience – and to optimize our internal processes at the same time. We were particularly impressed by the technical flexibility of the platform and the professional collaboration during the integration process.”
